The Community Creator Fund is designed to help villagers launch initiatives in their community. The fund offers financial support, sparring on how to get started and advice along the way.

Spring Clean-up by Sofie, Anja and Victoria, CPH Village Vesterbro

In February 2023, Sofie, Anja and Victoria from CPH Village Vesterbro applied to the Community Creator Fund. They wanted to arrange a Spring Clean-up Event on the 1st of March. Their idea was to get a fresh start in the Community Space for everyone to feel comfortable in. This included sorting through old stuff and cleaning everything properly whilst having a good time together! For the Spring Clean-up Event to happen, Sofie, Anja and Victoria needed support from the Community Creator Fund. The Community Creator Fund helped them promote their event and finance snacks for the hard working villagers!

The Spring Clean-up Event turned out to be an absolute success! Many Vesterbro villagers showed up to give a helping hand tidying and cleaning up the Community Space! 

Sofies, Anja and Victoria's Spring Clean-up Event is a perfect example of a simple idea that turns into a great Shared Spaces Event, that improves life in the Village and tightens the community together!

Gyoza Workshop by Shea and Rebecca, CPH Village Refshaleøen

In February 2023, Shea and Rebecca from CPH Village Refshaleøen applied to the Community Creator Fund.

Shea and Rebecca wanted to host a Gyoza Workshop for Villagers at Refshaleøen. Their idea was to pre-make vegan filling and invite villagers to the Community Space, where they could learn how to wrap their own Gyozas. According to Shea and Rebecca, the Gyoza workshop was a great way to bring people together, make new community memories while teaching people how easy it is to make homemade vegan gyoza!

To make the Gyoza Workshop a reality, Shea and Rebecca needed support from the Community Creator Fund. The CPH Village Community Creator fund helped Shea and Rebecca print their beautiful flyers and promote their event. The Fund also financed groceries for the Gyozas.

Shea and Rebecca's Gyoza Workshop is a great example of how a simple idea turns into a great event that teaches new skills and tightens the community together! 

Pride Party by Inés and Josefine, CPH Village Nørrebro

Josefine and Ines wanted to host a Pride Party for Villagers and friends. Their idea was for villagers and friends to meet-up before the Copenhagen Pride Parade for a warm-up brunch party, celebrating diversity while glittering up!

To make the Pride Party happen, Josefine and Inés sent their application to the Community Creator Fund. Through the fund, they got help printing their beautiful flyer and promoting their event on instagram, in their CPH Village Facebook group and on Village signs. 

The Community creator Fund also financed a community brunch, glitter and the colorful DIY decorations. They were given speakers and an instax camera for the event, to create good vibes and capture the beautiful moment together!

Flea Market by Klara, CPH Village Amagerbro

Klara from CPH Village Amagerbro applied to the Community Creator Fund. Klara wanted to host a Sunday Flea Market at Village Amagerbro, that was open for everyone.

According to Klara, a Flea Market was a great way to connect and get to know each other as well as to contribute to a second-hand lifestyle! To make the Flea Market happen, Klara needed support with promoting the event. CPH Village Community Creator Fund helped Klara create flyers, instagram posts and promote her event. The fund also provided music and financed free coffee and home baked goods for sellers and buyers visiting the Flea Market. Many neighbors from CPH Village Amagerbro, as well as from the other villages, showed up and enjoyed a sunny day in the village whilst searching for hidden gems!
